PatientsNotProfits is a network of concerned researchers, regulators, policymakers and activists that came together on one issue: ethical healthcare provision that puts patients above profit-making.

We have created groundbreaking evidence and advocacy materials in Pakistan, which we will use to tackle conflicts of interests that are preventing patients from receiving high quality healthcare around the world.

Safe, effective, and patient-centered healthcare is only possible when healthcare providers and policymakers act in the best interest of populations they serve.

Data from a range of countries shows healthcare which focuses on making profits can result in a conflict of interest;  what is best for a healthcare provider’s income is not always what is best for the patient. This affects the quality of care patients receive.

The consequences of poor quality of care are severe, including over 5 million deaths annually, and significant social and financial burdens.
